RIVERBEND CLUBS

Wednesday October 29th was Riverbend’s  first day of schoolwide Club time!  Teachers and students were so excited for this day!  Teachers and staff worked together to form engaging, unique clubs that would fit all different grade levels and interests.  Some examples were Drone Club, Fitness Club, Chess Club, Art Club, and Nature Research Club just to name a few.  Students got to pick their top three favorites and then were sorted according to their choices.

A 1st grader, Jordan C., said “This was the best day EVER!”

One of our 4th graders, Victor R. shared “I learned the anatomy of a drone!”

Alina D., another 1st grader, said “This was so much fun!”

The rainy, chilly weather didn’t stop clubs from venturing out to play games or observe nature! We are soo excited for all the enrichment that is happening at Riverbend!!
