We NEED Your Help Too!

 

Title Let's Read; ear Business Owner, We would love for you to partner with Riverbend Elementary School as we launch our Read-A-Thon Fundraiser! This exciting event is designed to promote a love of reading while raising funds to enhance our school. It’s truly a win-win: our students get to grow as readers, and our school gains the resources it needs to make this year an amazing one. About the Fundraiser Our Read-A-Thon will kick off with a school-wide assembly on October 24th, and the collection period will run from October 27th through November 7th. We have approximately 200 students participating, and our goal is to raise $10,000. Every dollar raised will stay right here at Riverbend — 100% of funds go directly to the school. This year, we plan to use the proceeds to upgrade the playground structure on our back playground. The current structure has been there since the school was built in 1998. The new playground structure costs approximately $30,000, so we need your help too! 🎁 How You Can Help We appreciate any donation you’re able to make — whether that’s a monetary contribution, gift cards (e.g., Amazon) for student prizes, or other creative support your business can provide. 📖 Get Involved! If someone from your business would like to visit and read with students during Read-A-Thon week, we’d love to arrange that! It’s a wonderful way to connect with the students and show your support for literacy in our community. Any donation that exceeds $250 will be recognized in our 2025-2026 Riverbend Yearbook. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a positive impact at Riverbend. Your partnership helps inspire our students and strengthens our school community.
