A Pirate’s Tale!

Riverbend students and teachers enjoyed a hilarious pirate adventure performed by The National Theater for Children that taught and inspired them to conserve our Natural Resources and protect our planet. During the performance, students learned what natural resources were and how we use them in our daily lives.  They helped “Captain Doorknob” save the natural resources from the “Pie Rat Pirate.”  Everyone was left with some valuable tools for conserving in our schools and homes.  Each students will receiver a pirate flag postcard to remind them how to sign up for a FREE conservation kit at www.XMarksTheKit.org.
