RIVERBEND GARDEN WINS BIG!

Each school year our First and Second grade students, along with our Master Gardeners and volunteers,  spend time in the Riverbend garden exploring, learning, growing, and harvesting vegetables and flowers.  Their hard work has paid off!  Various items from the the garden were entered at the Haywood County Fair and won!! There was a First Place ribbon winner for the best Radishes, three Second Place ribbon winners for Carrots, Zinnias, and Delilahs and a Third Place winner for the Ugliest Vegetable.
