PENNY WAR 

HUGE SUCCESS!!

Thank you to our parents, students, volunteers, and staff for all their hard work collecting and counting thousands of pennies!  The winning class– Mrs. Wood’s Class– was announced at the Panther Party Fun Night last Friday.  They will receive a pizza and pool party later in the year.  Altogether, Riverbend students and families raised a total of $2,239.14!  The money raised was used to  take the whole school to see the performance of Aesop’s Fables at the Hart Theater in Waynesville this past Tuesday and to purchase books for the classrooms!
