Riverbend Drone Club members have been working hard all school year to prepare for the Haywood County Drone Legends Elementary Competition. Students from across Haywood County met Saturday, April 18th, for a day filled with ups, downs, and few crashes as they raced a drone through an obstacle course. One of Riverbend’s two person drone teams earned an amazing score of 1 minute and 44 seconds. Coming in first place amongst the other six elementary schools represented!! Riverbend is so proud of their hard work and dedication to learning how to fly a drone and then competing in the race! WAY TO GO RIVERBEND!!
