Fire Safety Week

October 9th-15th is Fire Safety Week this year.  Students at Riverbend had a visit from our local Fire Departments to help teach them about the importance of fire safety.  They got to see a fireman dressed in full protective gear, see different tools and equipment they use in emergency situations, and practice their safety skills in the Kiwanis Fire Safety House.  Thank you to all the volunteers that made this exciting and engaging day possible!
