NOTABLE NORTH CAROLINIANS LIVING MUSEUM

Sam Clontz as George Vanderbilt & David Crawford as William Sydney Porter

On April 26th, Riverbend’s 4th graders presented their research during the Notable North Carolinians Living Museum. Parents, teachers, and students had the opportunity to learn about people from the world of sports, business, music, entertainment and science. Each fourth grader “became” the person they had researched by delivering a five-minute speech that they had written, as well as using costumes, props, a slideshow to really make the presentation engaging and entertaining. The response from the “visitors” to the Museum was overwhelming. The curator is already hard at work on next year’s exhibitions! See you then!
